The Four Domains for Rapid School Improvement Framework was created by the Center on School Turnaround at WestEd, and first released in late 2017. Within the Four Domains, there are twelve practices that research and experience suggest are central to rapid and significant improvement. Since its release, the Framework has supported school improvement planning and implementation efforts at the school, district, and state levels. Based on our lessons learned, we will engage participants in understanding and exploring options to apply the framework practices in support of their school-level improvement efforts. Participants will be encouraged to consider how to launch and sustain new school improvement efforts or to jumpstart existing efforts that may have plateaued in the wake of the pandemic.
