The main purpose of this presentation is to provide principles and strategies to both district leaders and educators relating music to the expressive and developmental needs of children from early childhood, including preschool through early elementary school, and how these are connected in the daily curriculum. This presentation also hopes to provide to administrators and educators the importance of music activities for children, as part of their education materials, in order to improve and expand the hands-on classroom experiences, including the multicultural programs. These activities and/or curriculum resources are intended to increase the enactive, iconic, and symbolic learning experiences when creating a lesson plan. This is a hands-on presentation, so be ready to move, sing and participate!!
